1= Distance Impulse number – the number of speedo sender pulses required to +1 the odometer. for miles the number is in the 6000 range, for kilometers the number is in the 3000 range.
2 = Clock display mode – 1: Europe (24 hour time) 2: Canada? 3. UK (12 hour) 4. USA (12 hour) 5. South Africa?
3 = Speedometer and rev. counter code
4 = number of cylinders, or ratio for alternator/engine revolutions. (for tach calibration)
5 = Segment test (lights all LCD segments)
6 = Speedomenter sender impulses – each wheel revolution adds 7 to this count.
8 = program version

Hey, this works, but my question is.. can i somehow modify my rev counter? It’s still at full rpm after changing my engine from TD to TDI i need to readjust them.. because now i can rev up to 10k 😂

Lol works on a "94 8v GTi as well…. BUT my rev counter isn't working so it just shows 0 but you can change from 1-8
It does work, tried it on a '92 1.9TD AAZ engine with a clock on the dash. Now I have an electronic tachometer muhahahah ^^

It removes the electronic smoothing on the gas gauge. Therefore, the needle reflects the fuel sloshing around in the tank.

mine shows fuels consumption ? the fuel needle moves with how hard im driving. im not sure though

@106YeahYeah I charged my battery with a Dewalt battery charged. It plugs into an outlet in house. My clock still resets every time i turn it on/off. Think I should just get a new battery?
@sh115067 I have the same car and mine would do that when the cars battery was almost flat . even though the car would start first time the clock would reset . when I charged it back to 12v it was ok .
this didn't work on my mk3. When I turned on my car it just showed the odometer and and ever time I pressed the button it switched in between the odometer and the trip tracker
How do I change the time on my mk3 golf. Every time I turn on my car it resets back to 12:00???

what id like to ask is… if I can build in an analog tachometer… because in the mk3 1.8 GL that I just bought, an analog clock is in the side of tachometer… :-/
